Dafür suchen wir dich als Head Sushi Chef.
Our Head Sushi Chef will be building up and running our new sushi kitchen and all aspects affiliated to such. We are planning to offer Sushi and other Japanese dishes to the guests of our own two restaurants, as take-away and as event catering option. We are also the home base and designated caterer for www.attila.swiss, a luxury cruise boat.
You are a specialist with sashimi, maki and nigiri style sushi, showcasing intricate knife skills and understanding of contemporary presentation.
You are able to build up a Japanese kitchen offering from scratch. We will give you the respective support and budget to install the kitchen and the outlet according to your expectations.
Besides a competitive compensation, you will be incentivized on the financial results of this new offering. We can also accommodate you with onsite accommodation.
Deine Aufgaben
- Ability to prepare sushi in a high volume take away and restaurant operation
- Management and Organisation of the sushi operation including purchasing, recruiting, training staff, holiday and shift planning alongside with the F&B Management of the Hotel
- Responsible for ensuring routine cleaning, set up of the sushi bar is carried out within legal regulations
- Greet guests in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
Dein Profil
Education
Any combination of experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively fulfill the duties of this job description. Experience as sushi chef in Japan and/or degree in Japanese Culinary is preferred.
Experience
Ideally you bring along a few years of experience in similar positions.
Language and Communication
Advanced ability to comprehend and speak either German, French or English.
