Team Leader Service (m/f) with leadership experience
Ideally situated directly by the water, Hotel Bad Murtensee offers a unique setting on the shores of Lake Murten. The restaurant «See la vie», with its terrace and around 100 seats, the various banquet and seminar rooms, as well as the Beach House, create a lively and dynamic atmosphere. Our Head Chef and the kitchen team delight guests from near and far with seasonal and regional specialities. The property also features 21 hotel rooms and two apartments.
Bad Murtensee is an important tourism destination in the Three-Lakes Region. To further develop our gastronomy offering, we are looking for a committed and experienced professional to lead our service department.
Your Profile
- Training in gastronomy/hospitality and solid professional experience in service
- Initial leadership experience or strong motivation to take the next step
- You are organised, solution-oriented and able to maintain an overview even during busy periods
- You have a genuine host mentality and enjoy direct guest contact
- You lead with clarity, respect and motivation
- Excellent German and French language skills are essential
Your Responsibilities
- You manage our entire service department operationally and organisationally (à la carte, banquets & breakfast service)
- You also coordinate our Beach Houses and work closely with the respective team leaders
- You plan and coordinate team schedules (shift planning & daily organisation)
- You actively participate in service operations and support the team hands-on
- You develop your team, encourage talent and ensure motivation in day-to-day operations
- You ensure consistently high service and quality standards
- You organise mise en place and structure efficient workflows
- You are responsible for the daily closing procedures, including cash control
- You are the first point of contact for our guests regarding questions and feedback
- You work closely with the kitchen, event team and gastronomy management
